I broke down and purchased a new CD player, and Advance Paris ACD-Apex, with a tube buffer stage. I had been thinking about the Rotel 1572, but this one came recommended and I heard so many good things about this CD player. Although it was very expensive for me... I hope I made the right purchase. I plan to use with with the XLR outputs. I purchased it from Crutchfield, so I guess if I don't like it or it sounds just like my classic Pioneer PD-59 or my Marantz SA-8005 I'm going to return it under their policies.
