Advent Heritage Crossover replacement

I need to fix or replace a crossover on one of my Heritage speakers but I don't have the skills to fix the blown one. And I'm trying to do things on the cheap if possible.

The speakers are very similar to the Advent Laureates. The crossover point on the Heritage is 3500 Hz. It's 3000 Hz on the Laureates. I've seen Laureate crossovers on eBay for about $30. Would those be a feasible replacement?

I would rebuild the one you have. Changing the crossover point would change the sound of the speaker. Even if you find a used Heritage crossover, it would probably need to be recapped due to the age. I just recapped mine with some inexpensive electrolytic capacitors I had laying around. Really cleaned up the high end. If you don't know how to solder, see if you can find a friend to do it for you. It is a fairly easy job.
