Advent Heritage Surrounds

Among other gear I recently bought a pair of Advent Heritage speakers. They were very well cared for and the cabinets etc. look like new. All four woofers can stand a re-foam though. I've never done that before as both pairs of my AR's have cloth surrounds. I am handy so I'm sure I can pull it off.

I'm looking for suggestions for sourcing the foam. I need 4 (8" woofers).

Thanks!

Great speakers. At one time, I had 4 pair of these. I ordered foam surrounds from two separate reputable sources and didn't find them to be any more flexible than the generic ones. Actually, the generic ones have a slightly larger role which is closer to the originals.

I use a 30hz tone and Aleene's Tacky Glue. One of the easier speakers to reform. In fact, my first reform job was on a pair of Advent Prodigy 8" woofers.

I've done many of those woofers with generic surrounds that I buy in bulk off eBay.
They work fine.

Heritage are one of my favorite speakers.

As said, using a tone generator when setting the final glue up on the frame is the best and easiest way to get the voice coil aligned well.

always regretted not getting a new pair when Montgomery Ward was blowing them out for $299

I about to order new foams too... Just found a great pair of Advent Heritage speakers..
I just did my first refoam on some baby Advents..nice sound from those too...
