I ran across these speakers and I bought them with the woofers already refoamed. I listen to them for a few months then I rebuilt the crossovers. I find these to be a very enjoyable speaker! Easy to listen to for hours. This is definitely a speaker that flies under the popular radar. if you own these, what is your experience?

Advent made some very nice speakers back in the day. I sold them when I was in college in the mid 80's. My favorite was the Maestro's. They were very neutral speakers that not many people during that era were looking for.

My favorites I've ever owned of the Advent brand were my recapped Small Advents with the big spit wad dust covers. Hard to beat for the size. I believe the Laureates were similar to Klipsch's Tangent line, where there was cost cutting not in drivers but in cabinet construction.
