I was at the 2nd hand store and saw a pair of Advent Laureate speakers for $20. They are a bit of a project but I could use another project.
From the front they are identical, including each having the Advent Laureate label. I first noticed that the black trim in the front was rounded at the corner on one and square on the other. But the black was missing on the square one ... Oh Well. But once I got the stuff that was stacked on the top off the speakers, I noticed that the rounded one has a greater depth (inches difference front to back dimension ... no tape measure) and that the backside construction was different (including the speaker wire connector location).
From the front, they look to be the same speaker and yes the speakers themselves are the same size. It was not until I could see the depth that I noticed the difference.
Did they make two different sized Advent Laureate speakers? I presume the answer is yes given my experience.
