Hello to all, I came across a nice set of Advent Prodigy Towers the cabanits are spotless as well as grill cloth. Problem is one 8" woofer was gone, the other needed refoaming. I replaced the 8's with some Pyramid 4 Ohm I had laying around. The tweeters work, I think they are orignal Could someone give me some advice on what I could use for quality replacements for the 8's. I'm running these off a Sansui 771, I would like to run 2 sets of speakers at once. They reccomend 8 Ohm if you are going to run 2 sets at once. Were these origanally 4-6 or 8 Ohm. I'm wondering if I could use the stock x-overs with 8 Ohm drivers or if I would have to change everything including the tweets to achieve 8 Ohm. I suppose I could just drive them @ 6 or 4 Ohm seperatly. Sorry I never could construct a proper sentance. Any advice or suggestioms will be appreaciated. Budget (cheap) under $200 if doable.
