Advent refurbish

I've had these large Advents since the '70s. I've reformed the woofers and have ordered new caps. One of the tweeter domes was poked by my son and in trying to pull the dent out with tape a dime sized price of the dome came loose. should I repair the hole with paper and elmers glue? I don't think I can get the piece to fit back properly.

Are yours the model with Masonite around the woofers? If you have the later metal frame woofers I might have a donor tweeter to offer. ( I would ask for shipping cost only.) There are different tweeters for different models.

Yes and masonite around the tweeter at an angle, not square, orange dome, no guard.
Don't you think that repair will work? It's just the dome which I don't think flexes much, just a dust cover, right?

Well it is worth a try. The tweeter I have is from the later new large advent, it has the guard. Go easy with the glue and it might be ok.

It went excellent, but I smooshed my other one while recaping the crossover.

You might want to subscribe to AK, then you can look for a replacement on Barter Town. I've had good luck dealing with other AKer's as opposed to the 'bay or other routes.
