Advice needed from the Marantz tube experts!!

Hi Folks,

Got a line on a local pair of Marantz Model 2 power amps and a pair of Model 1 pre amps with the Stereo adapter. All look to be in nice shape, any idea on value for these pieces?

Oh boy those are some amazingly cool holy grail type pieces there, can't help you on the value but I bet they'll sound a lot better than all that Mac junk you usually mess around with!

Ebay says...no history. Look at Model 8 sales which is 2 channel amp and then try to figure what a pair of mono block 2's would be worth. There are a pair of 1's active on ebay now, look at ending price. Couldn't hurt to ask his proce. If it is 2k or less, I'm jumping. 3k is tempting as well.

Model 2 plus 1, you can get 10k for that. So you have the idea
