Advice Needed: Marantz 4300 for €800 – Worth It?

I found a Marantz 4300 Stereo and Quadradial Receiver. The owner told me it’s in good condition, and the price is €800.
Before I make any commitment, do you think it’s a good piece to collect and worth giving a try?
I know it’s a Quadradial Receiver, but is the price reasonable?

On ebay, $800 for a 4300 is low money. I doubt that they are more plentiful in Europe than they are here. Just be aware that it's 50 years old now, and might need a substantial refurb.

Yeah, I agree—the unit is old. I'm still waiting for the owner's response regarding whether the amp has been serviced or revised in the past few years.
If it has, I'll definitely consider getting it, since it delivers a lot of power.
I'm also still asking around—friends, groups, everyone—about its sound performance. Once I'm 100% satisfied, I'll go ahead and buy it.
