Advice on a technics SU-V900

Hi! I was wondering if someone would be able to help me. I’ve been gifted load of equipment left by my grandad and I have no idea on where to start on what they are worth or how to even work them. I was wondering if I listed the names of these items one of you lovely clued up people would be able to help Me?

Wow, that amp and those speakers? What a waste. The V900 was top of the line in the 90’s, i’ve got one, it’s a beast. Worth about 400-700 here in the UK. The GE90 EQ is an awesome piece of kit, 200 easy, maybe a bit more if mint.

The CD tape tuner and speakers are all junk, but you can use them to test the amp. Do you want to sell them or keep?

Thanks. That’s really good to know. My dad is going to come and test them tonight for me as I’m almost certain they work hut haven’t been touched in many years.

Same here. First thing you should do, @Aimeelouise, is lock the tonearm to the arm rest (that's the post a couple of inches in front of where the arm is mounted to the turntable deck) using the included arm lock. If the lock is missing, you can use a twist tie or something similar. It may be too late, but it also might not be, and replacement styli can be expensive.
