OBSESSED WITH 80's MUSIC
HI ALL
OK. Yesterday I picked a pair of small bookshelf speakers (woofer & tweeter) and they are only rated at 8 watts RMS maximum input. In my workshop I have a small 19 inch Samsung TV with the most horrid sounding speakers in it and I want to put these on to improve sound quality. Assuming the TV audio amp needs a load of 8 ohms, these speakers are rated at 4 ohms.
When I tested them across the speaker cables, one read 5.3 ohms and the other was 5.5 ohms. Would the TV audio amp run these speakers with no problems?
Over to you. :thmbsp:
