Airport Express and Android?

I have an AE which I have workign with iTunes. However, I hate iTunes and don't want to be tied to a computer. I'd like to stream internet radio directly to my stereo. So, here's my thought ... use my AE cabled to my stereo. Instead of my MAC and iTunes, I use an Android tablet for access to radio (Pandora, etc.) and stream directly to the AE.

My questions is this: Can I do this without iTunes and with an Android tablet? Can I use the AE device strictly as a wireless link to my stereo?

You may need an app, but yes you can, example Honey Player runs on Android and streams to AP.

Seems like you'd need some kind of software to enable the audio link across the WIFI.
There may be other ways to do it, I just don't know them.
That's kind of the point about the Apple stuff - it does all that behind the scenes.
No flames meant or implied ...

As I know, there is a few android apps supports apple Airplay protocol. Try to search airplay in play store.
