@theophile 's post got me wondering how long I was probably lurking before ever joining... I was bringing back gear I found at pawnshops, etc while on layovers in the 2000-2003 timeframe and looking for info on what and how do do things. So, I'm sure i would have come across the site in it's early days. That, and fmtunerinfo. Definitely seems like a lifetime ago...

As I said before it is heartwarming to see so many of the Old Guard putting their hand up. Not that it should be the deciding factor in Ms Grumpy's decision making, just that their persistence speaks volumes about this site.
