AK Acquisitions as Eye Candy

I have picked up some great gear from Ak members over the years. Every transaction has been a pleasure.

Last night I allowed myself the time to just listen.

We know. Play tunes lots, but not always for our undivided attention.

I picked the turntable forum because that's the heart of my system. It's basically LP porn anyway.

First I'll roll the credits. Comments and discussion to follow as is the way.

Latest addition are the Yamaha NS 200M's.
Just fantastic examples. Lovingly restored and veneered by KrautNotRice.
I have not had speakers like this. Deadly accurate with plenty of Umph!
I look forward to many years of learning to make these Beauty's sing.

HK 930 twin I got from @chapps
I've since had it recapped and it is as good as you've heard.
It's doing pre-amp duty today but of course sports a fine amp in its own right.

NAD 2200 amp from @pwauk12
He did all the loving upgrades and restoration that he does.
Love this amp.

Sony PS X7 courtesy Canuck Audio.
Today the doctor picks it up for a recap of the touch control board.
This table is a marvel.
Right now it's sporting an Empire 2000 E/III and I have never heard that cart sound so good.
A result of the complete package no doubt.

Sidenote:

I may not be replying to comments or questions promptly as I'm soon out the door. I mention this more to say that the big screen movie theatres have taken to occasionally showing "Vintage" movies and I love it.

I'm off to see the "African Queen".
