AK Chicago area help need.

This is a long shot but I thought I would check. I am trying to make a move on some big cab. speakers in the No. Chicago area.

Problem is that the seller is not interested in shipping and requires pickup. I spoke with him and he would not have a problem holding them for pickup if they were payed for ahead of time.

I am looking for a AK'er that would be willing to pick up these 100+ pounders and hold onto them until I can make arrangements to come get them. It would be probably mid Sept. before I could make the journey to pick them up.

Just so you know, these are @ 42" x 27" x 19" and weigh in at around 108 lbs. You would need a truck or van to deal with them but I would pay you for your trouble.

As long as the guy will help me load them, I believe they should fit in my Volvo wagon. I'll take a tape measure out tomorrow and check the width for them laying side-by-side on their 19" surface. I have clean moving blankets, etc.

If you're thinking of attending Army's get together in Cedar Rapids on Sept 8th, I could haul them out there to make the pickup a lot more enjoyable...

Hey, That would be great if you could fit them in there. Like I said, I would be happy to take care of the gas and whatnot for the trip to Army's.

I'm still not sure if I can make it. I will be leaving this Sunday morning for a work trip. My company would like me to make a return trip down again in early September.
