AK Design Collaborative - Insignia-Class Economy Speakers (a.k.a Indignia)

Yup, after they went away they came back, with many commenting it isnt the same, as per my post above...I hope I am wrong.

i will have to look it up. It was instructions/plans for a speaker that used that driver. I'm going to call Parts express and inquire.

I have a pair of Zilch Labs circuit boards for the Indignia crossovers, and a set of empty ADS L400 speaker cabinets that should be a good candidate for the project.

I just checked to see that both drivers are still in stock at PE, are people still building these?

Has anyone built them in the
Dayton Audio BR-1CAB ? Woofer is a bit bigger.

Well I am listening to my pair (S/N 17&18) as I type this - still pretty good and a very convenient size. Too bad the 0.38 cu ft rectangular cabinet is NLA.
Looks like the BR-1 cabinet is rear ported, so it will be different than the front ported original Indignia.

I listen to both my Realistic MC-1000 rework pairs (S/N's 77/78 and 97/98) weekly.
Listeners out there with 10-50w/ch RMS amplifiers and with smaller rooms (< 12' x 17') would be CrAZy  not to have a pair!
