June 18, 2002 was the day that AK went live. Everything AK has become is the result of everyone's contributions. So, as a small token of recognition, Dave and Nancy wanted to say thanks, and have a raffle. There will be gift cards or one-year subscriptions for the winners.
Here are the rules:
And Thank You.
Here are the rules:
- The raffle runs from June 25, 2021, with the posting of this thread, until 11:59 PM, EDT, July 16, 2021.
- Any member or subscriber, in good standing, with a join date before June 25, 2021, is eligible to enter. (We will have something for new members after this is done.)
- Enter the raffle by posting your join date (available in your profile) to this thread. One entry per person.
- There will be 5 gift cards from Amazon, in the amount of $25USD, and 10 subscriptions, to start. After the first 100 entries, with each additional 100 entries, there will be another 5 gift cards, and 10 subscriptions added to the prize pool. So, entry 200 adds another set of prizes, 300, 400, etc.
- When the draw closes, the total number of prizes will be determined, and then drawn, randomly, from the pool of all entries, until all the prizes have been awarded. I will be conducting the draw, using the random.org random number generator.
- Please make sure your AK account email is up to date, as the winners of the Amazon gift cards will receive them electronically. If it gets bounced, and we determine that your email is obsolete, I will draw a new winner for that gift card. If you are a long-time member, PLEASE CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT EMAIL ADDRESS!!
- If you know someone who might be interested in joining AK, please send them on in. Members who join on or after June 25, 2021, will have their own draw. Details will be announced at a later time, after this draw is closed, and prizes awarded.
- AK staff is not eligible for this draw.
And Thank You.
