AKAI AA 1020 Receiver - Tuner problem

Hello Community,

I have an AKAI AA 1020 receiver that i saved from the deeps of a garage.

I took im home, cleaned and putted it to work.

It worked fine until now, after 6 months of having it with me.

The problem is, when i put on TUNER, it works until 10-15 minutes. After it, it goes silent (the others channels work fine (AUX, PHONO)) and only start work again after more or less half an hour to one hour after the devise is switch of.

What do you think can be the problem?

My guess would be that the tuner's power supply regulator is failing when it gets warm. It could be that the solder joints for transistor TR3 have deteriorated and need to be re-flowed.
