hi. i recently bought a cassette player ,akai cs705d and im pretty new in the tape players area. it is beautiful with nice vu meters.
1- first it has problems with its old belts.i replaced all belts. and now it plays just a little fast.i guess i should adjust motor speed. however i put scrwdriver in the adjusting hole of motor and i couldnt find any setting screw! i also used very little screwdrivers and it didnt work. what should i do?
2- the ff and rev didnt work with old belts and after new belts ff and play works fine but rev doesnt. when i press the key it tries to do the job but clicks and stops. when you look inside the mecha, it seems to be ok but it is not!
3-after cleaning and belt replacing i decided to test record function of the tape. i recorded a 30 sec music from laptop on a tape.but after that, the left channel became noisy and the noisw is aomehow sinus shape! i mean if play even with no cassette inside, lots of noise in the channel and right vu meter goes high and low, in a sec it goes up and down. it has made me crazy.i dont know that what 30 sec record can do to the player. i need your help and advice, fellas, masters and all members.☺.
