Akai gx-4000d parts compatability

I'm working on an Akai gx-4000d that I got for $40. The take up reel table/platter has a broken shaft where the reel retainer would go. It's also missing the retainer. Does anyone know if any other model would work?

I checked the service manuals for GX-4000D and the somewhat similar Akai 4000DS; unfortunately, the part numbers for the take-up reel table assemblies are different. You'll probably have to seek someone on the Dock-o'-the-'Bay parting out a GX-4000D. I just had a look; a fair number of GX-4000D parts (plus some way-overpriced "parts" decks), but no reel tables. Sorry…
