Hello there, I know that I haven't been on the forum for a while, but here I am ! 
I recently acquired an Akai GX-F90 cassette deck for €10 in a garage sale and, tbh, for that price, I didn't even expect it to turn on ! It turned on, so that was a good point. Other than the scratches on the screens, I have an issue that prevents me from using the deck... It seems like the head mechanism is too high and it pushes too hard on the tape, making it almost impossible to play; that being said, I also struggle ejecting cassettes, because, once again, the whole head mechanism retains the cassette and I have to take the door off and push manually on the mechanism to get my cassette out... I can post a clip showing the exact problem if you guys want. Anyways, I hope I can fix this by myself and have this piece working for the summer.
