Akai GXC 735D

Does anyone know anything about the akai GXC 735D? I do have one and the buttons doesn't respond except two: the RR and RW. I did remove and cleaned the buttons connections, but nothing changes. A few questions: anyone knows what kind of light bulbs Akai gxc 735d uses?
If some of the light bulbs are not working will buttons work? And why are the RR and RW buttons responding even if there is no cassette inside?

Realize this thread is close to a year old, but just wondering if you made any progress with PB response problem? Picked up a GXC-735D about 2 weeks with similar problems.
Appears that the soft plastic on the inside of the PBs has dried out and does not make proper contact with the circuit board. I can mimic the PB actions with a small conductive pad on the end of a wooden dowel pin, but am not sure how to fix the actual PBs.
