Akai GXC-740D compatible VU meter

Hello all,
I would like to know if there is a VU meter that will fit the Akai GXC-740D?
The right one on my deck the plastic face is cracked i have checked so far in the seven series the following decks parts manuals GXC-570D, GXC-760D, GXC-730D, GXC-735D and the GXC-750D and none of the part numbers match mine which are EM666450 VU meter D18A68R these are the part numbers on the parts list for my model.

And on the actual VU meter on the back bottom of the meter are these numbers 77-2, my VU meter has only two wire connections. I have seen some Akai VU meters on the Epay site but those have 4 wires so i don't know if they would work. The dimensions on mine are 5cm wide x 3cm high that is the portion that goes inside the front metal face. Over all dimensions are 5 1/2 cm wide x 47mm high. Hope this helps.

Sometimes the VU meter is not bad but still getting no signal. Jump your meter with a low voltage supply and see if it moves. if it does it should still be good. If the meter is good, go in with a small screw driver and move all your Trim Pots and put them back where they were. Shoot them with Deoxit if you want, Hopefully that will fix your problem. If you need to replace the VU meters Amazon has ever size and color imaginable. Replace both so they match.

Thank you for replying back. I should have mentioned that the VU meter works fine, just the plastic face is broken and i wanted to replace it. If i can find one i will.
 
Sorry, I did not pay attention to the pictures. If I were you I would just replace them both with a matching set from Amazon or Ebay. Your broken one looks like its face is all scratched up. I'm sure you can find a set that fits for about $12.00
