Marco Polo!
I cant beleive how much clearer and full 8track is than Cass(IMO opnion anyways)
This player and recorder is more than just a 8track player, its kinda also serves as a mixer, and meter monitor, and if you hit the stereos tape monitor with the Akai plugged in (to me 'i know not really' but its kinda like an amp overdrive sound).
I measured the Akai with my 'sound card scope' its freq range is from 34hz- to 16,000hz and with my Oscope I got about 40hz- to 15,400hz. Im not sure how good that is to you guys but to me it is considering my Record player only got 70hz-10,000hz(+/- 500hz depending on the record)
Just thought Id see if anyone is enjoying 8track as much as I am, 3years ago I would of told you I WOULD NEVER LISTEN to 8track, I was wrong!
