Hi all, the other day I was visiting the local flea market with my girlfriend and I had found this large wooden box and I assumed it was an old record player when I first looked at it but then I opened the cover on the box expecting to find a nice old suitcase record player or something but low and behold I ended up finding an old Akai X-360D Professional Grade Reel-to-Reel tape recorder instead that is in near mint condition with all of its original parts intact yet, its a 4 speed unit that plays 1 7/8 ips, 3 3/4 ips 7 1/2 ips and 15 ips reels and has auto reverse and Automatic Volume Control, and a head cleaning alert light that lets you know when your tape heads need to be cleaned. I was actually able to find its manual online at HiFi Engine, and its a pretty amazing machine, and has lots of features for when it came out which was late 1960s.
