problem using akg headphones for laptop
hi,
i've recently bought a akg 701 headphones and they're really nice sounding headphones, but have one problem.
when i'm using it for the laptop to watch a movie or listen to music, it has very low volume level compared to any other earphones such as ipod earphones and other cheap ones i have around.
is this due to impedance mis-match? or what could be the problem? one other thing i can possibly think of is the jack adapter being kinda bent a little when i accidentally pushed it whiled plugged in.
i'd appreciate any input on this matter.

. Anyways you really need a headphone amplifier to make it sing and see its full potential. Go check head-fi.org and read and decide which headphone amp is best suited for you headphone. good luck.
