Full Compass appears to carry older replacement parts from AKG/Harman and they sell DF capsules installed in baffles for about $60/piece. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/035675-AKG-2058M07020
SO.. if I have K240 Studios which I do not like and wanted to tinker with, why SHOULDN'T I buy those replacement DF drivers and drop them into my K240 Studios?
Also, were there any other significantly different design elements in the DF compared to the Monitor/Studio? Will the three pin mini-XLR cause an issue when wiring everything up?
