Elvish-mark’d abortive, rooting hog
Does anyone have an opinion on this amp? Anyone heard one or have one? I tried doing a search on AK and came up with nothing. I’ve got a tube preamp project on the bench right now and I’m looking for an amp project to play with afterwards. I wanted to do a tube amp, but my budget is <$400.

I also read the review when I was a subscriber. They did like it for its price, its not a powerhouse, but if you listen to music at reasonable levels and you have at least medium efficient speakers, it should work out fine. I believe it is a class AB amp, if I recall. The matching preamp looks nice too!
 
it's an excellent audio amp, built-in protection, multiple rail voltages, and the last of the
great power op-amps. Today you can pick from the huge number of crappy Class D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/L
available.
