It's actually about an hour north of Albany. But yeah, great price. Some more info:

So here is the long and short story....If you know stereo equipment, this is a great deal.

My brother-in-law left his stereo equipment at his mom's house ( my mother-in-law). He got a new system, and did not want to deal with the old system.
It was in her Kitchen for over 2 months.....no one wanted to deal with it.
So while visiting her in NJ, I told here I would take it, and figure out what to do with the equipment. Trying to earn brownie points.......lol
Now I have the system in my garage. Still trying to figure it out. I would like to have the space back.

It is well below the going price for this equipment:

In HT terms the Sherwood is obsolete (no HDMI or modern codecs), but would still probably make for a decent 2 channel system (with built-in DAC) combined with the Van Alstine amp and DQ-8s. Or go full HT (that Sherwood was highly rated at the time) by using one M903 as a center and find a pair of other speakers for surrounds.

Decent chance all four speakers need refoaming.
