Album flats & CD longboxes

I've looked at completed sales for some idea of their value, but I won't be selling any time soon. Not really looking to add to the collection either. Just thought I'd let AK see another facet of music retail that they may not be familiar with, or had forgotten.

I don't have any flats or long boxes, but I think I have a crapload of poster used for the same promo purposes.

I remember when we got our first delivery of cds in long boxes. They filled 2 rows of LP bins and literally sat there unbought for several months. At that time there were few cd players and they were expensive.

I know this is an old thread, but it caught my eye at the end of a current thread and just had to check it out having lived through those early cd days.

I'm always looking for long boxes, flats, and other store ephemera. I've been wanting to turn by basement into a record store listening room. The stuff has gotten expensive.

At one point I had over 150 flats (80s-90s) and another 100ish long boxes. Along with standups, promo prints, and other assorted store ephemera but it was all stolen a few years back.
