All 8,400 Apollo Moon Mission Photos

I once was skeptical but with the hi res cameras on the satellites that now orbit and survey the moon you can see images of the landing sites, rover tracks and even footpaths to experiment packages that required sample removal for moon to earth transit.
Google “ images of moon landing sites”

However, I have been shown a couple of photos from a friend where you could see that there was some over zealous editing that obscured one of the little + marks in the images that were used to evaluate object size and distance from the camera
Those should never be obscured by an object in the image as they are in the camera itself.

Its very interesting to see how far they drove that rover from the LEM
Balls for sure...
You know we're all in the Matrix and none of this is real  Just wait until the machines give us civilian flights to Mars :smoke:

My Dad was an engineer at North American Aviation. He worked full-time on the Apollo Program starting in 1962. The day they landed on the Moon, I was just a kid, but got to tag along and watch/hear the landing as it happened on the closed-circuit feed from mission control. I remember Neil Armstrong counting down the altitude as he approached the surface, saying that they were “kicking up some dust” at something like 140 feet altitude. Everyone in the room was dead silent, holding their breath, because he had trouble finding a clear landing spot and was close to running out of fuel when he finally set it down. Once he reported them down (the famous “Eagle Has Landed” statement), pandemonium broke out, followed by cigars (and a few other adult refreshments).
