Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Brain Salad Surgery​

Been at the emergency vet all evening, Benjis breathing was elevated due to his heart condition. Hunter and Charlotte have the same condition (HCM), I could instantly tell his breathing was not normal even tho he was acting totally fine. I could tell his rhythm was off. I know my cats well. Sure enough he had fluid in his lungs, he was give lasix and some oxygen. I almost gave him some lasix but wanted to be sure that’s what was going on. He’s back home how and relaxing. He will have to be ok lasix going forward, and we have an appointment with the cardiologist in a few days. He’s was not in distress or anything but I didn’t want it to progress. We recently had a similar situation with Charlotte.

Just a crazy week for us, crazy is an understatement really. Between Charlotte and benji the stress has been immense, but the news of my wife’s Aunt was just overwhelming. They still have not caught the guy but she is healing, had some blood on the brain from taking a hit.

Turns out the guy just walked up, punched het and tried to take her purse and broke her necklace. She’s 89. She’s out of the hospital now, but still having trouble walking. He son is going to be staying with her for a few weeks.

Sick people In this world… I truly hope we find him.
