Sea Stories - Wide Eyed And Dreaming
 
We had this 15-20 foot triple pallet out back in our driveway that was used to deliver our kitchen cabinets a number of months ago. The thing was not a normal pallet, it had 2x4 runners and 2 layers of 3/4” plywood. Thing must have weighed a few hundred pounds. I wanted to take it to the dump but it was too big to get in my truck, it was just way to long.

I figured I’d be able to cut it up with my circular saw….. nope the blade didn’t have enough depth to get through all the plywood, so I ended up using a 4 foot crowbar to pry the tops off but the wood was just so hard from sitting outside for months. Tied 2 different saws and it was just killing the blades. Was able to cut them down into manageable sheets, all the 2x4 it used was easily broken down into smaller pieces so I can do a burn at some point this week.

Took me 4-5 hours to get it broken down, but so glad it’s done as we have our driveway back now. Going to have to make a dump run for all the plywood but that won’t be hard I can do that after work at some point.

Time to make a beer run and get some music going!!
