Years ago my grandfather was a dealer for Allison Acoustics. I acquired a set of Allison fours which are amazing. I've also got a pair of Allison Mini-2P powered speakers. Does anyone know anything about these speakers? I did some searching and can't come up with any info. Sadly they sound terrible... Probably the worse sounding speakers I own.

Never had any idea that such things existed. I would suspect that there might be a problem in the amplifiers, or there is some quirk of the set up that is causing them to sound so bad -- Allisons aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they shouldn't be wretched.
