Allison Acoustics?

Is Allison Acoustics sill in business? Every time I go to their website, it says the phone is temporarily disabled. I can't seem to find any information on them. I own a pair of Allison Threes that I bought in the early 80's and I still prefer it over anything else for reproducing string instruments.... If they're still in business and there are dealers that carry them, where can I get more information? Also, are they still made in the U.S., or did they move their factory elsewhere?

There was an attempted comeback for the company but it failed. The web site is not supported.

Parts for older models are available only on the auction sites.

There is an excellent discussion forum in Yahoo Groups for Allison speaker owners and several of the old Allison company engineers are members and respond to questions on fixing or setup of Allison speakers, including Roy Allison (retired) from time to time.

As I understand things, the guy who tried to bring Allison back to life wasn't such a good businessman and due to contract defaults and such the Allison name now belongs to Eminence. The "Allison" home type speakers that were available through PE for a while were NOS that were being cleared out but they were from the newer stuff. I'm not sure what they might have in house anymore. You might be able to get some parts for the reunion tour version from them...maybe.
