Yes and no respectively. The only reason I say no on the second is mine are in the $5-10 range (either AR component video cables or homemade ones made with Mogami cable and Switchcraft RCAs). I think I would need to get better gear to notice a significant improvement beyond these. My system is closer to $2K than 10K though.
