Alon Capri speakers on CT CL

Well my first impressions are that they have a very nice soundstage, a lot of detail, not at all any harshness in the highs, very good bass - for me at least, and not too sensitive at all to placement.
Will do some more "testing" tonight. BTW I like them so much that I stayed up until 1 AM listening to differnt types of music and source.

I had spent some additional time with them last night and I am really impressed. While listening to Fleetwood Mac I had moments when I really thougth that the instruments were two feet left and right and in front of my head. They are not in excellent cosmetic condition but sonically they are awesome. OK I need to stop. Thank you ll for chiming in and giving me a nudge I needed to get these great speakers.

For anyone who attended AKFest and didn't take the opportunity to go into the Nola room, you not only missed some remarkable speakers, Viper Reference II's, but also an opportunity to sit and talk with the man himself. Mr. Marchisotto was very generous with his time with me. A true gentleman, and he makes some damned fine speakers to boot.

I wish I would have been able to attend this year. I would have loved to discuss Carl's design philosophy and the evolution of the Dahlquist Company and the M Series......
