No photo of the Marantz nor ID on the vintage speaker.

I’ll be checking it out tomorrow.

The speaker could be an Altec 891V, a contemporary of Large Advents and EPI 100's.

The Sony juke box was grabbed by a competitor. It's already on eBay. The Marantz had the wood case. A little beat up, but not bad. It needed work. My skills just aren't up to the task. The speakers were Sansui. Don't remember the model. The seller said the turntable was still there but I didn't see it. Wasn't interested in it anyway. All the theatre speakers were still there. Expensive.

Thanks for reporting back!

How much was the Marantz?

How much was the Marantz?

$150. Last day of the sale is today. It might still be there.

Nice drum set.

Very sad looking at the end of someone's life and dreams.

$150 is a great deal for that 2230. Ah well.

Because it is an estate sale it doesn't always mean they have died. Sometime they are quickly relocating because of work or transitioning into another form of living.

[stereofanboy]

. . . transitioning into another form of living.

Isn't that the same thing as dying?

Isn't that the same thing as dying?

Lol!
You can transition into assisted living or an independent living facility and simply have to lessen the amount of belongings that you own.

Maybe not dying but definitely the end of their life and dreams.
