ALPs blue pots on eBay - genuine or not?

Does anyone have any experience buying ALPs blue pots off eBay? I need one for an up-coming project, but they all appear to be shipping from China. Are they genuine or not? If anyone has somewhere/someone they can recommend getting them from instead, I'm all ears...

Really? I just looked on there and couldn't see any. They had plenty of the "regular" style dual pots, but not the blue Alps.

I ordered one of these last week, and it arrived today, but I wasn't here to sign for it. I'll pick it up from the Post Office tomorrow, and report back.

I think they're fakes, but still decent quality. That's how Jim McShane describes the 500k one he sells as a replacement Citation 1 volume control. I've got one of his in my Citation 1, and liked it enough to buy others on eBay as replacements for the other pots in my preamp. I think they're fakes because they have the toothed shaft which fits the stock Citation knobs, and I don't think Alps makes a blue pot with that style shaft.

I'm happy with these, but bear in mind that they replaced worn out 50 year old pots. If I didn't have the issue with the knobs I would have gone for something better, but these were cheap enough to experiment.

I got 2 10k alps last week from China at around $13 each. They look the same as a previous one I got from another Chinese seller at about $19 and it does exactly what it's supposed to so I'd have no qualms buying from China/ebay again.
