Good day folks ! Fifty-one year old newbie here from Shawnee, Kansas. (NE Corner outside of Kansas City)
I have been trolling you guys for about six months as a quest was started for a more simpler receiver.
Was given a DENON AVR-2808CI ... two years later and I am still highly confused by it.
So ... decided to find a more suitable "to me" receiver.
This is where you all come in. Without even knowing it, your information steered me towards a stable product route , while at the same time, keeping me away from a couple "like new" candidates ...
Long introduction short ... purchased a Kenwood KR-7400 a couple of weeks ago.
Aesthetics were 80% / Mechanical 75%.
After a little bit of work on it ... its maiden voyage in the garage happened.
Ecstatic ... sounds great.
