No affiliation to the sale, just wanted to let people know about theae speakers. Could be a good deal.


It's a pair of altec 604 big red speakers up for auction right now in CT with the mastering labs crossovers. Auction ends in about two hours. The price right now is still very reasonable. One of the HF diaphragms needs to be replaced.

A few other interesting things up for sale too. I don't have the money or the space. Pick up is this Sunday I think.

Thanks for posting that link. I was unable to find some pictures that showed them setup in a studio type environment. They are rather large, so everyone has a hard time imagining how they would have been setup as "monitors".
 
Oh Ok Those Mastering X-overs are the Best part of that Deal
Did you recap yours? My pair didn't have them so I've got the Markwart X-0vers
Very happy with them
