Altec Lansing Bias 550 pentamplified towers

I have a pair of Altec Lansing 512 triamplified towers :) :thmbsp: , and have looked all over for a pair of the larger model: the altec 550 bias:
these were (consumer product line) high end speakers made from 1988,
standing 180 cm tall, by 50 W by 60 D, a 5 way system with 5 monoblocs built into each speaker...

Because the Altec factory burnt down some years ago, they lost all their archives, spare parts, etc...
Now the only thing I find is pc speakers :worried: or the older altec speakers, especially the professional products.
But does anyone out there know where I could find the altec bias 550 towers, or maybe schematics?

I think that these were made after Altec was sold, if I remember correctly, Sparkomatic was the owner. Information seems to be hard to find for these years of Altecs. I have prices, but no schematics.

Bigyank, did you see the 512 or the 550 on the website you mentioned?
the 512 (another pair, not the ones I have) I have found somewhere in Dubai too, and indeed the add seems to reappear,( I guess he has difficult selling them from where he is...)

Someone brought a post from almost 14 years ago! Awesome. No I never found anything but also wanted these in the 1989 timeframe. Good luck.

Did you find schematics for the Bias 550 or the 512"s. I have a pair of Bias 550's and just retraced the schematics for the equalizer and the power amps. Let me know if you still need the schematics. Contact me on jerry.witkowicz@xplornet.com

As teal'c mentioned above, meridian has not been here since 2008.
Nice of you to offer though.
You could post an image of the schematics in this thread which could help someone in the future.
I'd not post any personal information with the schematic though.

EDIT-- I see you posted the schematics in the other thread. :thumbsup:
