Altec Lansing Love?

Any love for Altec Lansing? I never hear them talked about here.

I have a pair of Altec 1012s and 1010s. The 1012s have some serious power to them.

1010s:
  • Frequency Response: 60-20kHz
  • Sensitivity: 92dB
  • Ohms: 8
  • Dimensions: 23x15x12

1012s:
  • Frequency Response: 55-20kHz
  • Sensitivity: 93dB
  • Ohms: 8
  • Dimensions: 29x16x13

Hang around a bit longer, Altecs get lots of love. Mostly the older ones pre 1970 ish.

How would you guys rate the Altec Lansing 887A Capri's? I might be able to get a set .

I had a pair of A7-500W the ones in the walnut cabinets and they could play really loud especially with my McIntosh MC-60's. We also had a smaller pair not sure of the model number but they had no highs or mids and sounded like they had a blanket over them.
 
I think Analog Addict has the Kappa 8's in there to listen to and the Altecs to take photos of.
