Altec Lansing Speaker System

These were made in the Altec/University plant in Oklahoma City, according to the connector plate. The Radio Shack woofers are definitely a replacement, and may or may not be a serious compromise. It's possible the woofers were made for The Shack by someone like Utah or Oaktron, in which case they're decent, but not the equal of the originals.

You can use the RS part number referenced in the ad to search online catalogs and get the specs.

The ads been up for weeks - 11 woofers look the same with one looks different - I can't see how 11 or 12 woofers could have blown...

the one with the original woofer looks like it needs to be refoamed. Im thinking that whoever used these needed to refoam them all and decided just to go with new woofers.

Can't find anything on them online, and only one of them seems to have the original woofer. They look like they we're driven hard and put away wet. but at $25 per speaker, I don't know if you can go wrong.

Radio Shack woofers might make it happen. I wouldn't go $50 for a set of those cabs and drivers...
