Altec N-1600-D Crossover question

Hey All

Hostboard is down, so this is probably the best place to ask this. Just got a pair of nicely clean Altec 605b drivers. There were also some busted crossovers where the knucklehead who pulled them from the cabinet used a screwdriver and didn't unscrew the retaining nut instead. Doh!

Here's my question: I can't seem to find an official N-1600-D schematic anywhere. Does anyone know what the values of the tweeter pot should be?

I don't think it will be hard to swap in a new one and get these running.

Ultimately, I'll be buying Werner Jagusch models, but in the meantime, I'd like these working if I can. One of them has a wounded but still working pot and it sounds pretty good.

Here are some pix to see if we can identify the pot that's needed:

I noticed that there's a 20ohm resistor in line between one leg and the pot. If these are 16 ohm drivers, could someone explain why you'd go with 25-30 ohms? Is that so you wouldn't attenuate the signal completely?

I can call GPA and ask them, too.
