Nice paint on those 15's, but they're sellin em reasonable for sure.

I posted those early bolero's here yesterday, didn't seem to generate any interest. Rather ironic since those have tweeters that alone usually bring more than a pair of later boleros.
 
they look like original 15 boxes to me, still have the grill fasteners, looks like the risers are gone...... no biggie.

802-8G horn drivers, you can get the correct foams on ebay, or send the woofers to GPA.

I've had my eye open for a pair of 14's, that's how I ran across my 604's. How do the 14's and 15's compare? The 15's are older correct? Do you know the dimensions?

The 14 has a more refined crossover and a CD horn, i believe the 14's will take 200 program watts. 14 has a bigger and possibly better ported box than the 15 and i think has a little better bottom end. 15 owners claim to get improved bass by removing that plastic doohickey in the port. The 15's are a little more versatile in regards to size and placement. I've heard comments suggesting that the bent horn of the 15 isn't as good at handling the highest frequencies, having owned 15's several years ago i never found this to be a valid issue, YMMV.

I'd rate the 14's second to the 19's, with the 15's coming in right behind the 14's.

Ebay is a funny place where price/value is concerned.

My guess is that the condition combined with the high starting bid will probably cripple this auction to either a last minute minimum bid, or no bid at all......... just my guess.
 
As I recall...

$300 is about what HomerJSimpson paid for his with the surrounds out, a ripped woofer cone, and so-so cosmetics...

Came in through the door at the start of the Spring NC AK fest, and in an hour or so they were all fixed up, refoamed and making music....:thmbsp:
