Altec Speaker cabinet-MA-150 Already sold

I'm just curious if anyone from here picked up this killer deal I saw last night. It's an altec Speaker cabinet,606, I think. Supposedly sat untouched since the 70s. I'd imagine it has an altec 604 in it or something similar.

I sent the seller a message but by the time I woke up in the morning it was already sold. Anyone here pick it up? If so what was the driver inside? Seems like a hell of a deal.

Unless the contents are disclosed, assume it's empty.

Domestically, a 606 cabinet in original finish with proper original decal is a 200 dollar item unless you're willing to crate and ship overseas. That cabinet has neither, and could actually be a home brew built to Altec spec.

You're right. Probably for the best that I didn't get them. It would have taken up a lot of space and been a bit of a gamble on if there was a good 604 driver or not. Plus I'd only have one driver and would need to find a match.
