Am I the only one who ogled this KX 200 kit new in box

Just curious, Browsing the auction site and ran across listing for NIB KX 200 kit. Unopened (no affiliation) . First I can't be the only one who saw it. So next as nice and novel as it is, I think its priced absurdly high. Not that I don't believe that some collector with deep pockets might ante up.
OK now food for thought, I'm guessing it has full compliment of tubes NIB. That alone probably worth 600 alone (maybe more). (Trannys, chassis bits, knobs, .So I'm thinking parted out (which would be a sin in my eyes) this thing might be worth near asking.
Now I wouldn't know, from a collectible point it might be worth more unopened. If one would decide to build it, I'm thinking you wouldn't use electrolytics even pristine, they're a bad bet. Would you use original diodes? Resisitors, coupling caps.?
Anybody given this thing a look or any thoughts or am I the only twisted one here ? (after reading threads I know I'm not).:scratch2:

These are a crapshoot. You've got a clean chassis, knobs, front panel, transformer and tubes. Everything else is a crapshoot.
