Just caught this on Amazon Prime yesterday, reviews weren't that great, but I thought the movie was fan-F'n-tastic! I've posted in other threads that the 2X's LP Soundtrack was the best ST ever (Pink Vinyl), and the movie hosted all the great songs from this album. Check it out if you haven't seen the movie and buy the S/T for the incredible price of $23! Sound quality on the vinyl is pretty great.

That's a fascinating era in Rock n' Roll in the USA. I was in college when the place got rolling, but out in the bleak mid-west and way too far away to visit. Would have loved to have seen it in the day. Thanks for the heads up.
 
There's another thread on this movie...can't find it.

We (me and a couple other members) like the movie.

It's fictionalized, with comic animation thrown in.
