[squirrelnest]

Wow....that is some find....need to tip toe on that property!

Praise God it didn't explode!

Let us hope that forthcoming deactivations of such stuff will be successful - wherever on this planet!

[jhtstone]

The durability of these bombs is something that really frightens me.

The durability of the hate that led to those bombs is even more frightening.

The durability of the hate that led to those bombs is even more frightening.

Yep.

[Mystic]

The durability of the hate that led to those bombs is even more frightening.

The enduring hate that is leading to... ah, forget it.

[Rome]

Be careful when digging in your garden, HK!

This!

That is something special though! Geesh!

My son just sent me this article about a 500# WWII bomb unearthed in Wiesbaden on a construction site. They're evacuating the area around the bomb in downtown Wiesbaden (the state capital of Hessen) before sending in the professionals to dispose of it.

[harman/kardon]

It confuses me that such WWII bomb issues have happened so often especially in the last months...

Picture shows an evacuation scenery in Wiesbaden.

Will this nightmare never end? Probably not. It makes me so sad.

On behalf of the USA: Sorry about that, mate!

[harman/kardon]

I deeply appreciate your comment!

Since 1945 the "tool" of democracy and the attitude of reconciliation made the friendship between our nations possible.

[toxcrusadr]

Here's hoping democracy and reconciliation will have long and prosperous lives on planet Earth.

Our beer is certainly better over here having you folks as friends. :thmbsp:
